Pracharnama & Jabong.com - Case Study


Brand Name : Jabong.com

Campaign : Branding in Elite Segment/ Smart Phone Users.

Overview : The site started operations in January 2012. It was co-founded by Arun Chandra Mohan, Praveen Sinha, and Lakshmi Potluri after which Manu Jain, and Mukul Bafana joined the organization. The managing officers are Arun Chandra Mohan and Praveen Sinha. In March 2013, Jabong was shipping 6000-7000 orders a day. According to the The Economist, Jabong clocked gross sales of around US $100–150 mn in 2012. As per the Livemint article, during September 2013 Jabong was shipping 14,000 orders on a daily basis out of which 60% were from small towns.
Requirement : Jabong.com was targeting the smart phone users in metro cities.

Solution : It was a CPC camapign on mobile devices through banners. We at pracharnama, design the campaign in our Apps Prachar network, and run the banner on national level on 26 apps over android and iOS both. The campaign was for 10 days only and the expectation has been meet in very first 4 days. So it was a very successful campaign for Jabong.com with Pracharnama Media.

Outcome : The Application of Jabong.com has been downloaded more than the expectation from the campaign and sales also increased respectively.
